I've spent most of my working life on houses and joinery — started young, learned from people who took their craft seriously, and try to do the same.
What I love about it is the variety. A kitchen one week, a renovation the next, a single fitted wardrobe the week after. The scale changes — the care doesn't.

A few of the questions clients ask most often. Anything we haven't covered, please get in touch — every enquiry is read personally.
Do you only take on large projects?
No. Roughly half of my work is small — a single piece of joinery, a sash window restoration, a kitchen fitting. I don't filter by budget. I filter by whether the work would benefit from being properly made. Projects run from a few thousand pounds up to multi-million pound country house renovations, and every one gets the same hands and the same care.
Do you work directly with homeowners, or only through architects?
Both. Many projects come through architects and interior designers I've worked alongside for years, but a good number of clients come to me directly. Either way the process is the same.
What does the process from enquiry to start look like?
An initial conversation, a site visit, then a written proposal outlining scope, materials and a programme. Once agreed, work is planned in detail before anyone lifts a tool. Lead times for bespoke work are usually 8–12 weeks.
Do you work outside the UK?
Occasionally. I've completed projects in Europe and one or two further afield. For overseas work I'll usually partner with a local contractor for site coordination.
Will the same team see the project from start to finish?
Yes. The team is intentionally small. The people you meet at the first conversation are the same faces on site — through drawing, build and sign-off.
Can you work alongside other trades and contractors?
Frequently. On larger renovations I coordinate with structural engineers, M&E consultants, stone masons and specialist subcontractors as standard. Long-standing relationships mean coordination tends to be quiet rather than fraught.
